Siwani Mandi: NSS workers succeeded by running a tree plantation program for the third consecutive day at Shri Krishna Pranami Public School located in the city. On the first day of the program, the cadets of NCC Army Wing started by planting saplings, while on the second day the Air Wing cadets worked to take the program forward. On the third and last day of the program, NSS workers planted 50 saplings while completing this campaign. Giving information, the spokesman said that 50 saplings were planted on the first day of the program and on the second day also. In this way, 150 fruit bearing and shade trees were planted in the three day plantation programme. Sunil Sharma, Principal of the school said that man is a social animal and he fulfills the needs of the society like fruits, wood, oxygen and many other needs from these trees. We all take these useful things from them, but in return we plant very few trees. Therefore, to keep this earth green, it is necessary that more and more trees should be planted. NSS Incharge Sunil Kumar said that like every year, the school is playing its important role in plantation drive this time too. All the staff members and NSS workers were present on this occasion of the program.
