NCC teaches self-discipline: Sunil Sharma
NCC Day was celebrated at Sri Krishna Pranami Public School in the city on Sunday morning, 27th November. On this occasion, the students of NCC Army Wing and NCC Air Wing operated in the school shared various information about NCC Day.
The program was started by school Principal Sunil Sharma by administering oath to NCC cadets. After the oath ceremony, NCC cadets made the atmosphere patriotic with NCC song filled with heroic juice. On this occasion, School Principal Sunil Sharma while addressing the NCC cadets described them as the military equivalent of the country. The Principal in his address mentioned about the 1971 war and how the NCC jawans helped the Indian Army and took an active part in that war. He told the students that the Army Wing and Air Wing NCC conducted in the school is an opportunity for the students which inculcates a sense of self-discipline within them to become a responsible citizen towards the country. He said that NCC cadets are an ideal for other students, by whose inspiration other students also get education of discipline.
Vice Principal of the school Pankaj Mishra also praised the cooperation of NCC students and called them the main pillars of the school. On this occasion, Director of NCC Army Wing, Atul Malik also addressed the students and told them to be a source of inspiration for other students and ordered the NCC week to be devoted to cleanliness, calling it a campaign of Swachh Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
Director of NCC Air Wing, Headmistress Sarita Bisht also praised the speech, NCC song and cleanliness drive presented by the students and inspired them to work in the same way in future and expressed hope that they will be very loyal to their duties. Will follow from
